Irish jazz drummer Kevin Lawlor has carved out a jazz scene in the town of Wexford in south east Ireland and is the director of Jazz at CWSM. He is a bandleader as well as sideman for many jazz and improvised music projects in Ireland and further afield.

This year marks 10 years since his collaboration with Welsh pianist musician Dave Jones. In that time they have recorded together on 4 albums as well as supporting musicians from USA, UK and Ireland in live performances and most recently a 2019 UNESCO International Jazz Day event in Wexford commended in a letter from their ambassador Herbie Hancock.

The performance will feature new music familiar to Jones and Lawlor as well as new music for an upcoming 2020 album.
