Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn's take on everyone's favourite Tchaikovsky - The Nutcracker Suite! Nine movements of the ballet arranged in 1960 by the maestro, recreated by Harmony In Harlem in authentic style.
The performance at Great St Mary's pays tribute also to the performance 50 years ago by Duke Ellington and his Orchestra at the very same church as part of the tour of the first Sacred Concert. Harmony In Harlem will perform the opening movement "Praise God" of Duke Ellington's Second Sacrd Concert.
