The Freewheeler Project - Album Launch For MacMillan Cancer Support

'Earlier this year I found an old vinyl record that my father played on; as you may know he sadly passed away last year. To find this record - an old covers album of popular songs from the 60s/70s, was a revelation to me, and I've decided to re-record the album with a bunch of friends to raise money for charity. I'm incredibly lucky to be working with top-notch producer Steve MacLachlan on this at his studio, with an exceptionally talented team of musicians and singers. Recording takes place throughout October/November. Everyone involved is doing this for free, all for the charity.

We're going to be launching the album on Friday 18th November at the Cornerhouse, Cambridge. In a very special one-off performance, we'll be playing the whole album live in it's entirety. Expect amazing arrangements of songs you'll know and love, brass, a mini choir, everything! My dad's old band were called Freewheeler, hence why we're delighted to launch the Freewheeler Project.

The album will be available to purchase on the night. Tickets for the show are available here for just £5.00.

Every single penny from the door and CD sales will go to Macmillan Cancer Support. The event will be opened by a special acoustic set from Griff Jameson.

Really hope to see you there for what will be a very, very special night.'
