Murray Rowlands Innocents Into War

New Zealand born Surrey Heath resident Murray Rowlands has published a very personal story set against the wartime backdrop of Passchendale.Very little is known about New Zealand's contribution towards World War I and Innocents Into War sets to redress the balance.The story follows two of Murray's relatives who in 1916 join the army, leave their home in New Zealand for the most harrowing journey of their lives. It is the story of ordinary people flung into the most extraordinary of circumstances.
