Violinist Rebekka Hartmann has won several national and international prizes and performed as a soloist with the Nürnberger Sinfoniker, the Philharmonic Orchestra Klausenburg and the Beijing Symphony Orchestra. Her latest CD "The Birth of the Violin", (Naxos) with rare solo works by Geminiani, Biber & Guillemain etc. won the Echo Classic Award 2012 for the best solo recording of the year. Rebekka plays an Antonio Stradivarius from the year 1675.
