Dave O'Higgins Quartet

Infectiously swinging straight ahead jazz and tender readings of melodic standards, along with new originals firmly rooted in the great African American tradition of Miles, Coltrane, Dexter, Rollins, etc.

Saxophonist Dave O'Higgins has honed his jazz chops on the road and in the studio with Martin Taylor, Ray Charles, Jim Mullen, Frank Sinatra, Jason Rebello and Stan Tracey as well as appearing with Nicolas Meier.

Geoff Gascoyne is one of the UK's most in demand bass players and composers. In a 25 year career he has performed and recorded with Michel Legrand, Georgie Fame, Sting, Van Morrison, Bill Bruford, Peter King, Jamie Cullum and Jacqui Dankworth.

Dutch drummer Sebastiaan de Krom also performed with Jamie Cullum and is one of the most in demand jazz drummers in Europe. The quartet is completed by pianist Robin Aspland, hugely popular amongst musicians whose career includes touring with Van Morrison for six years.
