The captain's daughter has fallen for a dashing, yet lowly, seaman. They decide to go ashore to marry but are betrayed by dastardly Dick Deadeye who tells the captain of their elopement. In a rage, the captain utters a profanity and is locked in a dungeon cell for actions not becoming his station. Soon after, it is revealed that not all are who they seem.
