Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds is proud to bring you back its Summer School after a year’s hiatus.

Kes is a charming and moving story which is sure to be a highlight of the Summer season.

‘Kes is essentially about a community that fails its young. At its heart Billy an apparently backward kid, neglected by his tarty mother, beaten up by his older brother and bullied on all sides. Billy's solace is his pet kestrel, on which he lavishes all the tenderness he has never known.’
