Beautiful interpretations & elaborations of ancient Norwegian hymns. Alongside long-standing musical partner, Jarle Vespestad on drums, he is also joined by Afghan-German vocalist Simin Tander whose performances at the North Sea Jazz Festival have received rave reviews. And for the first time on stage, Tord now uses subtle live electronics, adding depth and new layers to the musical texture.
