Jan Page

Jan Page is a children's writer, best known as co-creator of the hit CBeebies comedy drama, Grandpa in my Pocket. She's written for many much-loved television programmes such as Thomas the Tank Engine, Fireman Sam, Postman Pat, Angelina Ballerina, The Tweenies, The Hoobs and the new Magic Roundabout. Her books include Dog on a Broomstick and The Chocolate Monster.

Jan will be sharing some of the secrets of writing for children's television - how to create a world, build characters, devise stories and then bring them all to life on screen. Think of some questions you'd like to ask her and come with some ideas of your own!
