Presented by Kent based professional company Katapult in the centenary year of the Battle of the Somme, this show takes the audience on a journey through the experience of the First World War through songs, poetry, readings and drama.

It tells the stories of some of the women caught up in the conflict who became nurses, bus drivers, factory workers or entertainers.

The cast includes Dover based West End singer and actress Marie Kelly, highly experienced comedy performers Alan Simmons and Julia Burnett and the dancer and actress Ann Lindsey Wickens.

Musical direction is by the Kingsdown professional performer and composer, David Harding and the piece was devised and directed by Dover based writer Michael Thomas.
