The Killing Of Sister George
Sister George is a fictional character in a popular radio series about English village life.
To boost ratings this character is to be killed off with resulting consequences for June Buckridge who had played the part for some 2,000 performances.
This comedy was a hit in the West End and subsequent film for the late Beryl Reid.
