This event has been and gone.

After a wait of nearly 4 years, The St. Pierre Snake Invasion announce their new album 'Caprice Enchante,' set for release on June 21st, with a special release show at The Fleece Bristol. The release is preceded by the ferocious first single 'Casanovacaine', which was given its world premier last night on the Radio 1 Rock Show.

Formed in Bristol in 2011, TSPSI have shared the stage with the likes of Refused, The Bronx, Retox, IDLES, Trash Talk, Jamie Lenman, and Fucked Up, and played at festivals across the country like Truck, Dot To Dot, ArcTanGent, Y Not, 2000 Trees and many more.

Written over the course of 2-3 years, 'Caprice Enchante was recorded at Rockfield studios in January 2017 by Sean Genockey (Reuben/Shame/The Who/Jamie Lenman) and with an additional 6-8 months of sessions at Black Dog Studios in London. The result is their most ambitious and accomplished work to date.

'Caprice Enchante' will see its 21st June release on a limited run of 300 clear splattered vinyl. You can secure your copy now through the Ticket + Vinyl bundles here: All pre-orders will receive a download of the album 5days before its official release. LPs to be collected at the show.

JOHN appearing at this event

Taking the mundane spirit of their name as a manifesto, Crystal Palace based two piece JOHN (both members aptly named John) offer a deadpan approach that has become the recognisable force of their live performance, with an almost mechanical solidity rare for only two bodies. Alongside the rhythmic synchronisation of guitar and drums, introspective lyrics suggest that literature and spoken word are just as important influences as the Punk, Noise and Rock genres they might comfortably fit into. This tight balance between content and volume has lead them on to stages with bands such Pulled Apart By Horses, USA Nails and Idles, as well garnering support from writer/actor Simon Pegg, BBC 6music, and XFM DJ John Kennedy.
