Contemporary Classical Guitar and Flute: Andreas Moutsioulis, Clarissa Payne
Andreas and Clarissa began working together in 2012. They are particularly interested in finding and performing new repertoire from around the world.
The programme includes works by Villa-Lobos, Albeniz, de Falla, Piazzolla and Bartok.
Andreas Moutsioulis is a Greek-born guitarist and arranger with performing experience in Europe and America. After his university studies in Greece and at the Mozartium in Salzburg, he attended masterclasses with distinguished guitarists such as John Williams, Leo Brouwer, Manuel Barrueco, Eliot Fisk, David Russell, Costas Cotsiolis, Ricardo Gallen, Marco Tamayo and Jorge Morel. He constantly seeks to broaden the repertoire of the guitar , making his own transcriptions of works for solo guitar as well as for ensembles.
