40-part motet ‘Spem in Alium’ alongside Britten’s evocative 'Hymn to St Cecilia’ and Whitacre’s ecstatic 'Her sacred spirit soars’.
The choral elements of this programme will be beautifully balanced by performances of Bach's ever popular unaccompanied cello works. Surely the perfect way in which to begin our 50th anniversary celebrations.
