Margaret Cho

Margaret Cho has announced a short UK tour for the winter. The US comedian will be playing seven dates, starting on November 25th at Edinburgh’s Queens Hall and ending at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire on December 10th.

Her new tour is called Fresh Off The Bloat, and she said: ‘This is my sickest show to date. My grandmother said, "You look bloated, as if you've been found dead in a lake after several days of searching." Koreans are the most savage of all the Asians. My new show is all about being fresh off drugs and drinking and suicide and coming back to life - finally fished out of the river Styx. It's meta. It's magical. It's me.’

Cho is also currently piloting a new show for America’s TNT network, entitled Highland. The comedy will chronicle what happens when two extended, dysfunctional Korean-American families come together after tragedy strikes.
