Christmas Special! Part of the 'Light Time Music' Programme curated by St. Georges Bristol and Bristol Mammas in Music - Saturday Matinee is a day light hours music concert for all the community.
Join Bristol singer and songwriter Beth Rowley for this Christmas concert with special guests Katey Brooks and RaRa.
Held at St. Annes Church in Easton, Bristol, this is a day time event for all the community to come and hear live music. Full access available with on street parking, refreshments, soft quiet play area and outdoor space available.
Beth Rowley
Beth Rowley was born in Peru, raised in Bristol and, after college in Brighton, began a stunning career as a singer/songwriter that saw her sign to Universal Music for the world release of her debut album Little Dreamer, which climbed the UK charts and produced a series of hit songs. Heavily influenced by blues, gospel and Americana music, Beth has a stunning and unique voice that has been acclaimed the world over. 10 years on, Beth's second album, Gota Fría (released in June 2018), is a fusion of rock, blues and Americana. She has been working with co-writers Ron Sexsmith, Marcus Bonfanti and Ben Castle to produce an intimate, yet explosive piece of work that reflects her sublime talent.

Katey Brooks
With a “voice to melt glaciers” (Venue Magazine) Brooks is at home anywhere she can take her guitar. From the London 2012 Olympics to Glastonbury Festival, from WOMAD to Abbey Road, Brooks’ “devastating vocal talent” (Just Music That I Like) has garnered her admirers from across the spectrum of the industry. Katey features on tracks with Paloma Faith, Imelda May, The Rolling Stones’ Bill Wyman, Nick Mason of Pink Floyd and Brian May – not to mention sharing the bill with acts like Newton Faulkner, Ghostpoet, Deaf Havana and Mystery Jets.
