Stand Up For The Weekend: Romesh Ranganathan, Angela Barnes, Jarlath Regan, Clint Edwards
Please note that the artists appearing may be subject to change.
Romesh burst onto the comedy circuit in 2010, gigging regularly at top venues all over the country. As well as turning in storming turns on a regular basis, he has also found time to reach the Latitude New Act Final 2010, The So You Think You're Funny? Final 2010 as well as coming runner up in The Amused Moose Laugh Off 2010.
He has forged a fearsome reputation with a set that combines cutting one liners with an acerbic take on the world around him.
'Extraordinarily hilarious' (Three Weeks)
'Plenty to enjoy in his ultra sardonic set' (Chortle)
'his ability to write bitingly fresh gags marks him out from the crowd... Ranganathan's punchlines are sharper and funnier than many of his peers' (The Guardian).

The winner of the BBC New Comedian Awards 2011.
'Angela Barnes is a brilliant new comic with an excellent on stage persona. Her acidic tone of delivery and deftly crafted, punchy material make for a very funny set' (Trevor Lock)
'... brilliantly funny' (Sarah Millican)
'... warm autobiographical material with plenty of strong jokes... She's just a gloriously down-to-earth, straight talking and extremely funny comic... Like all the best comics, she manages to articulate a singular perspective while making it seem like a universal truth. And then she put jokes in it. Harder than it looks' (The Guardian)
'Angela Barnes is the best mainstream female comedian I've seen since Sarah Millican... I can't be any clearer than that can I?' (Bruce Dessau, Evening Standard)
'A beautifully paced performance that was aided by the consistent quality of her jokes, many of which showed a great skill with self-deprecation' (Chortle).

A former advertising executive who turned to comedy when his unmarketable greetings card ideas got him the sack, Irishman Jarleth Regan is a jack of all trades and all round decent fella, the kind you could take home to meet your mum. Raised on the windswept plains of the Curragh of Kildare he dreamed of being a professional basketball player but shelved the ambition due to combination of injuries and on the early on-set of cop on. The NBAs loss has been stand-up comedy's gain.
'A subtle yet sublime helping of observational humour' (The Herald)
'Side-splitting stuff... causes near hysteria in the room' (The Metro)
'A refreshing and hilarious change of pace' (The Independent)
'While he's not as well-known as some Irish stand-ups, he's every bit as talented' (Sunday Express)
'He has a skilful way with words and a playful misplaced logic' (Chortle).
Jarlath Regan tour dates
Part-time librarian and stand-up comedian with a conversational style mixed with audience interaction.
'All pizzazz and charm, his conversational routine set the tone for a night characterised by a symbiotic comedy partnership between performer and crowd' (Wales Online).
