Mark McDowell's live solo sets are drawn from the acid folk and country of the first two McDowell albums 'Rooks Wedding' and 'The Gap in the Curtain' and from the latest EP 'McDowell Chamber Union' which is currently receiving radio air play.
The sublime melody of the guitar and vocal lines are delivered in dynamic style drawing on the influence of sixties and seventies singer songwriters such as Sandy Denny.
