Odyssey's UK top 10 classic hits include "Native New Yorker", "Use It Up And Wear It Out", "Looking For A Way Out", "Inside Out" and "Going Back To My Roots" as well as the rare groove soul anthem "Don't Tell Me Tell Her".
Their fusion of soul, pop, dance, jazz, funk and latin-caribbean rhythms continue to make them popular around the world. In the great tradition that has made them famous, Odyssey's new releases carry their classic sound forward as "old school meets new school meets old school".

Seventies soul diva and voice of Rose Royce is still 'Wishing On A Star' at the 'Car Wash'. Gwen left Rose Royce in 1980 and ever since has been performing as a solo artist around the UK. She has also worked with Jay-Z in 1998 on his own composition called 'Wishing On A Star', featuring Gwen who re-recorded some of her original lyrics. Meanwhile the classic songs have been covered in recent years, including Mary J. Blige ('I’m Going Down'), Faith Evans ('Love Don’t Live Here Anymore'), Christina Aguilera and Missy Elliott ('Car Wash'), proof that Gwen's material has injured by today's artists.
