Alan Ayckbourn’s acclaimed comedy is a series of five one-act plays, loosely connected by characters and location. Each play explores riotously, but with sharply pointed undertones, the themes of obsession, isolation and the strong human desire for connection and companionship.
From gentle comedy to outright farce, each play within ’Confusions’ demonstrates why Ayckbourn is one of this country’s best playwrights.
