This is an 18+ event.

This is the first of our evening opening for adults. You'll be shown some explosive and unexpected party tricks that would impress your family and friends at the dinner table and certainly send the festive season off with a bang.

Santa's invention workshop will also be up and running where you can make yourself some cool little stocking fillers to take away, including decorations for your tree. There will be LEDs and Wham Last Christmas...

Throughout the evening there will be shows running in the Planetarium. These need to be booked, and cost £1 each. Book in advance by calling the bookings line on 0845 345 1235 Mon - Fri 9-5), call in to the front desk with your We Got Tickets reservation, or you can buy on the night on a first come first served basis.

And of course, there will be a bar with West Country mulled cider and scientific shortbread.
