Never miss another 'Jehst' show
Jehst + DJ Fingerfood + M9 + George Chro
"William G. Shields, better known by his Stage name JEHST or a slew of aliases including The High Plains Drifter, Billy Brimstone and Jay Star, is a colossus of UK rap and co-founder of hip hop label YNR. His game-changing albums including 'Dragon of an Ordinary Family' and 'Return of the Driter' have cemented his status of one the countries finest MC's.
Due to scheduling conflicts Jehst may not be accompanied by Jazz T and Micall Parknsun as originally announced.
Making his Bristol and Rhyme and Reason debut is Triple-Darkness member M9 or Melanin 9. Also hailing from London town, he has a deep complex flow with old-school boombap undertones. His political/scientific lyrics and unique delivery on recent record 'Magna Carta' (which incidentally has production from Jehst) has established itself as a classic UKHH LP."
Info provided by the Event Organiser
Jehst is the best kept secret in British rap and one of the most consistent artists to break out of the UK over the last five years. This man has built a following and spawned a thousand soundalikes right across the country. Top-notch flows, unconventional subject matter and tight beats mean that the product is always at the top of tree, while his stage show is without doubt the best of any UK hip-hop artist.
