The Big Saturday Night Comedy Show: Alfie Brown, Joe Rowntree, Giada Garofalo, Sami Stone, Sajeela Kershi
The Big Saturday night comedy show in Brighton, with a top selection of comics.
Please note that the artists appearing may be subject to change.
Alfie Brown's first stage credit was when he was 15 in Harry Hill's stage show Wild Horses. The son of Dead Ringers star Jan Ravens, he started performing stand-up at the age of 18 in August 2006. He has appeared on BBC2's The Grumpy Guide To Teenagers. His firebrand style of comedy has been forged from years of pushing boundaries and experimentation. A natural stage presence combined with explosive material makes for a thrilling performance every time he hits the stage.
His material touches on introspective thoughts and considerations of the human condition as well as broader observations on social-political issues. All done in an accessible and hilarious way.
'Quite simply the future of British stand-up' (Brian Donaldson, The List)
'Brown's is one of the boldest new voices I've encountered... mapping a route to a
different class of humour' (Brian Logan, The Guardian)
'Calls himself an observational comic' (Kate Copstick, The Scotsman)
'A true delight, his delivery was natural and his jokes were sharp' (Such Small Portions)
'Incredibly interesting new comedy voice' (Time Out),

Joe is also the creator of Morgan Berry, Pet Bereavement Counsellor.
'... has the unique ability to take a cold room and reduce it to fits of laughter' (GQ Magazine)
'Bags of madcap energy and an instant daft allure... It is his use of very specific and nonsensical language that is so captivatingly funny' (Chortle)
'Ridiculous in its simplicity but with a lot of obviously thought-through preparation, this is an amazing example of how to do it right' (Graeme Connelly on Morgan Berry).
Joe Rowntree tour dates
An Italian storyteller and stand-up comedienne, Giada Garofalo started doing comedy, for a bit of a laugh, in August 2008 and never stopped!
Giada is also a photographer and since September 2014 she has started to mess around with design and filming to combine comedy and photography!
'With her endearing accent and sing-song tones, Garofalo sounds like she could be the voice of some sweetly innocent CBeebies cartoon character. But that only gives her the element of surprise when it turns out that she wants to talk politics' (Steve Bennett, Chortle)
'Friendly, feisty, funny... the most engaging of comics' (The Scotsman)
'A natural soryteller' (The Argus).
