Lucrezia Borgia's Daughter
Ground-breaking research by Laurie Stras has revealed that a fascinating collection of 'entrancing' five part motets from the mid 16th century were almost certainly intended for nuns, and possibly written by Lucrezia Borgia's nun daughter, Suora Lucrezia d'Este.
The programme will also feature music for nuns by Cipriano de Rore.
