When an aspiring young singer of sophisticated tastes foolishly falls for the gay male owner of run-down cabaret bar Easy Street, she just can't help herself - and the infernal triangle is complete when the retiring lesbian singer falls for her too in this zingy comedy of sexual manners - and errors - set against the ongoing gentrification and end of an era for a Soho Bohemia whose louche life is threatened when a hip ubiquitous high street franchise makes an offer that can't be refused.
This musical features adult themes throughout - ANNIE, IT AIN'T! Trigger warning: this show is intended purely for escapist entertainment purposes.
Created by arch-provocateuse Julie Burchill, award-winning comedy playwright Caroline Gold and with an original score by musician/composer Robin Watt. Brought to you by the illustrious team of producer Mark Brailsford (founder and creative director of Brighton's award-winning comedy revue The Treason Show) director & choreographer Carole Todd (show business legend with over thirty West End Shows to her credit) and musical director Tom Phelan (virtuoso pianist and multi-instrumentalist).
