Very pleased to welcome Vic Godard & Subway Sect back to The Green Door Store again. Subway Sect first played at the 100 Club Punk Festival in 1976. Vic Godard, often named 'the greatest living Englishman' by former Fall member and DJ Marc Riley, continued making music throughout the decades.
Evolving from The Last Party, The Bitter Springs have released several LPs including excellent 2015 release, Cuttlefish & love's remains.
"King spring Simon Rivers has the ability to be painfully funny, stingingly poignant and hopelessly sad within the space of one line. As a result you'd be pushed to find a lyricist working in the English language worthy of licking his boots this side of Jarvis Cocker or Morrissey"... Jim Wirth, NME.
Advance tickets: £8 + 80p admin online and at Resident Records Brighton.
Tickets £10 on the door.
