Concerts In The West
Sophie Rosa (violin) and Simon Lane (piano) perform a programme of works comprising:
Beethoven: Sonata in A major Op 12 No 2
Elgar: Violin Sonata
Ravel: Tzigane
Emerging as one of the UK’s most exciting violinists, Sophie studied at Chetham’s School of Music, the Royal Northern College of Music and in the USA. She was a recipient of the RNCM Gold Medal and was also awarded the Worshipful Company of Musicians Silver Medal.
