Textile Exhibition

An exhibition celebrating local textile artists and groups. Exhibitors will include The Somerset County Quilters, Sian Martin and Karen Young.

Siân Martin has been a maker of textile art since she graduated from Birmingham Polytechnic in 1972 with a BA Hons and MA in Embroidery. She exhibits with the 62 Group of Textile Artists, Stitch Textile Artists, as well as the Textile Study Group.

Karen Young has lived on the Somerset Levels since 1986 and uses a wide range of fabrics with machine and hand stitching to create her beautiful landscapes.

Somerset County Quilters are members of the Quilters Guild and promote their beautiful and varied work with meetings, courses and exhibitions.

This should be a stunning exhibition of local textiles in many and varied forms.
