Watercycle
A special community celebration of water-inspired music with one of the finest period instrument ensembles in the world.
An inspirational journey through water-themed highlights of the Baroque era, including movements from Handel's exhilarating Water Music and Vivaldi's transfixing Four Seasons, passages into a sparkling collaboration with the leading local chamber choir the Paragon Singers.
Following the regional premiere of Digital Overture, composed from found / sampled water sounds captured by local contributors, members of the audience are encouraged to lend their voices to the uplifting, newly-commissioned song for massed voices, Watercycle.
