The Last King of Kings Of Africa: The Triumph And Tragedy Of Haile Selassie I
A defining figure in both Ethiopian and African history, Haile Selassie was a descendant of King Solomon and a forerunner of African unity and independence. He fought with the Allies against the fascist Axis powers during the Second World War and was the messiah of the Jamaican Rastafarians. A reformer and autocrat, he was assassinated in a communist coup.
