** This evening is the first of a three-part Dickensian film & dine event **
Enjoy a Dickensian 3-course meal before settling down to watch the 1946 classic film Great Expectations. Follow the epic story and rise and fall of the young blacksmith’s apprentice Pip, who suddenly comes into a large fortune from a mysterious benefactor and moves to London where he enters high society.
The first of David Lean‘s two adaptations of Dickens classics. In this film, Lean realises the cinematic potential of the novel which results is one of the finest adaptations.

Dinner is served at 6:30pm in the Theatre bar before the film in the main theatre at 7:30pm. The evening finishes around 9:30pm.
