Jack Revill was made out of fluff, an old hair clip and a scratched old 7" record in the early 1980s when Mrs Revill was cleaning out the back of her old wardrobe with a brush. Jackmaster has constantly felt the silent call of black plastic noisy discs wherever he has roamed - and now shepherds his brethren around in cardboard boxes to record players far and wide whilst perfecting his art in many of Glasgow's dance music discotheques.

You probably know this London born, Bristol based rapper as a regular MC on the dubstep and drum 'n' bass circuit, but he's now dropped his first hip hop EP. With production by Charlie P that often gives more of a nod towards old school US hip hop than much of the sound of the current UK scene, there is a refreshing familiarity and optimism to the beats over which Linguistics' storytelling skills come to the fore. Have a listen to his "Free Speech EP" out now on UK records, and see for yourself why he is causing a such a stir on the scene.

Legendary Bristol DJ whose blend of reggae, dub and ska has made him an icon for many in the industry, including a host of Jamaican producers and Massive Attack. Derek isn't your average turntablist - a former accountant in his late 70s with a major cardigan habit, Derek kindled his love for music as a washboard player in the 1950s; nevertheless he continues to blow away audiences with his unique selections.

Future Garage inspired music from this Bristol duo. Eton Messy are quickly becoming part of British heritage. With fingers firmly on the pulse of electronic music they’ve grown from a small Youtube channel to a strong platform for up and coming artists. On top of this they have provided an on point mix series that’s seen them go from DJing around the country to hosting their own stage at this year’s Gottwood festival.
