The talented musicians of Wingates Band are delighted to return to the Octagon, following their celebrated performance in the sell-out production of Brassed Off during May/June 2014.
Wingates is one of the oldest and finest of Britain’s brass bands, and throughout 2015 they will be celebrating 100 years of recording their wonderful music. In honour of this milestone, musical director Paul Andrews has promised a programme of music which will vividly demonstrate the versatility of an elite brass band – with the emphasis throughout being on pure entertainment!
