Renowned folk singer-songwriter Roy Harper has announced four special headline shows to celebrate his 75th birthday. The shows confirmed for September 2016 will see Roy accompanied by a string and brass ensemble.
Few surviving artists from the counterculture of the 60s have kept their reputations intact. With 23 studio LPs and almost as many live and compilation releases, Roy’s career has spanned six decades. He has enjoyed public endorsements, collaborations and tributes from the likes of Led Zeppelin, Kate Bush, Pink Floyd’s Dave Gilmour and many more with Fleet Foxes, Joanna Newsom and Johnny Marr affirmed fans.
