Book Club: The Castle by Franz Kafka

Ikon’s second Book Club event continues our exploration of The Castle by Franz Kafka in the light of Pavel Büchler’s exhibition. This session is led by Jamie Sutcliffe, and focuses on the ‘artist’s book’ as a medium, drawing widely upon examples of 20th century art and experimental literature. The Castle is available at a special price from Ikon Shop.

Places are limited and booking is essential. Please book online or call Ikon Shop on 0121 248 0711. Please note that online booking closes at 5pm on Tuesday 7 July.

Jamie Sutcliffe is an artist, writer and publisher. His writing has appeared in The White Review, The Quietus and E.R.O.S. Journal. Recent exhibitions include Open/File: A Rehearsal, Outpost, Norwich and The Speed of Sound, Farnborough. He is currently editing the Diary of Ian Breakwell, forthcoming from Occasional Papers.
