Acclaimed organist Nigel Ogden will once again bring this year’s Halloween classic to spooky life with an improvised organ accompaniment. This classic silent version of Gaston Leroux’s novel celebrates its 90th anniversary this year.
The Phantom of the Operastars the legendary Lon Chaney Sr as the disfigured Phantom lurking in the depths of the Opera House. 1920s audiences were said to have found Chaney’s astonishing make-up a little too terrifying with reports of fainting in the aisles. Will you be brave enough to witness the terror of the Phantom?A rare opportunity for a big-screen showing of this gem from the early days of Hollywood, accompanied by a unique soundtrack.
