"Stand up comedy night for a great cause, featuring Mark Thomas, Mark Steel, Josie Long, Sir Ian Bowler MP, Tiffany Stevenson and Ivor Dembina.
Mark Thomas is the patron of our local independent furniture charity Hastings Furniture Service. This fun fundraiser will support HFS craft and DIY training in the community, particularly the courses they run for women at local refuges."

A heavyweight political comedian of a Marxist slant, Mark Steel has performed as a stand-up comedian on the British comedy circuit and on national tours since the '80s.
He has also written and performed The Mark Steel Solution and The Mark Steel Lecture for Radio 4, hosted Radio 5's Extra Time and produced the best selling book Reasons to be Cheerful. He writes a weekly column for The Independent for which he won Columnist of the Year at the Press Awards in 2015.

Claiming her first BBC Comedy Award by the age of 17, Josie returned to performing after finishing University, notably at the Edinburgh Fringe, where she carried on winning awards for 'Kindness and Exuberance' (Best Newcomer) and later in 2007/8 for 'Trying Is Good'.
She regularly writes for The Guardian and has appeared on The Island (Channel 4), The Superhuman’s Show (Channel 4), Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central) and Dara O’Briain’s Go 8 Bit.
The Telegraph have described her as 'one of the most exciting female comics around'. Josie's humour is warm, optimistic and endearing, filled with rambling daft tales and all the things she likes in the world and which cheer her up.

Tiffany Stevenson is an actress and stand up comic based in London. She sometimes does magic and has appeared in Footballer's Wives and The Office amongst other things.
