Double Standards is a Belfast based jazz quartet established in 2024 by guitarist Mateusz J. Chmielewski and saxophonist Laura McGrath, joined by Rohan Armstrong on double bass and Matthew McCrudden on drums.
Drawing inspiration from a broad variety of styles and directions in the tradition of improvised music. Using well-known standards as an excuse to put a unique, modern twist on well established jazz esthetics. Delivered in a quirky, entertaining way.
