Count on The Mill to provide you with a night of blood-curdling laughs!
A hilarious and silly comedy retelling of the iconic gothic novel Dracula comes to the award-winning Sharnbrook Mill Theatre from 11th to 15th March.
The year is 1900 and Professor Van Helsing is not happy.
Bram Stoker’s novel may be entertaining but it’s not the truth, the bloody truth... and the truth must come out!
He has gathered a troupe of highly trained actors to tell the story of the vampire who came to Whitby leaving a trail of blood and destruction in his wake.
The play – Dracula: The Bloody Truth – features just four actors playing 40 characters with countless costume changes, a dead parrot and a 6-foot tall crucifix!
This fast-paced and faithful adaption of the Victorian classic will leave every audience member in stitches and is in the same vein as our 2024 award-winning production of The Hound of the Baskervilles.
Director Keith Hargreaves said: “There is a real sense of surrealism and danger for every member of the audience.
“Few actors are playing many characters, in a fast and silly way, possibly to a contentious conclusion.”
Grab your garlic and your stakes! This comedy is guaranteed to have your blood running cold!
Content advisory: This production is suitable for those aged 14 years old and over.
