Album launch: Groundhogs, Pearl Handled Revolver, Del Bromham
"Pearl Handled Revolver album launch."
Info provided by the Event Organiser
Ken Pustelnik, the original Groundhogs drummer, has formed a new lineup of the band. Their show features all the classics from The Groundhogs long and very successful existence (formed in 1963), which featured Ken Pustelnik's unorthodox drumming style.
All the traditional Groundhog elements will be on show, such as the high energy arrangements and the free-flowing psychedelic-tinged improvisations, all anchored by the underlying Blues Root ever present since the bands earliest days.

Pearl Handed Revolver are a Bedford based blues-rock five piece. Since their arrival on the music scene they have built a strong local and wider following and become festival favourites. Their two albums, Colossus and This Mountain Waits have met with rave reviews from the music press as have their live shows. Their third album 'If The Devil Cast His Net' is released on 29 April 2016. Pearl Handled Revolver play with passion, they play with heart and on stage they deliver exhilarating, psychedelic live performances. "They sound like some half remembered dream you had about Tom Waits fronting the Doors. Creepy, groovy and utterly infectious". – Classic Rock Magazine "It's music that sounds like it's coming up through the gutter from a subterranean blues club that is frequented by a collection of vagabonds and circus freaks tripping on hallucinogens." – Powerplay
