Enter the exclusive world of front-row fashion. Invitation Strictly Personal provides an opportunity to experience the ephemera and ballyhoo associated with the catwalk show. Iain R Webb is an award-winning writer, curator and academic. Webb will share stories from his seasoned tour of the international collections along with invitations, snapshots and sketchbooks from his personal archive.
Harking back to the pre-digital age where journalists’ reportage of shows was the only way to see images and gain opinions of the collections, this evening gives an intimate and stylish insight into one journalist’s experience of attending catwalk shows throughout his career.
