Lada Valesova

A recital with a narrative devised and performed by Czech pianist Lada Valešová. The programme for the evening consists of carefully selected pieces that are significant to Valešová’s development as a musician.

She transports her audience on a journey through Russia and the Czech Republic, where she grew up, and then to London where she studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and where she is now a professor.

Lada conjures the landscapes, changing seasons, funny and sad situations, people and takes her listeners on a journey of discovery both in word and in music.

This evening makes most of Lada's unique gift: her ability to combine her world class piano playing with an engaging and entertaining story telling.
