The ‘Rubettes featuring Alan Williams’ celebrate the Rubettes 45th Anniversary. 70’s Icons the Rubettes broke onto the scene in 1974 with their worldwide number one hit ‘Sugar Baby Love’ and followed in the ensuing years with a further 14 International hits including ‘Tonight’ ‘Juke Box Jive’ ‘I Can Do It’ and ‘Baby I know’. Members of the Rubettes, having ‘retired’ periodically over the years, due to public demand inevitably found themselves ‘back on the road’ with Alan on more than one occasion. This being the bands 45th year of touring Alan, who now lives in Australia, has returned once again to Europe to bring you the authentic Rubettes vocal sound, only possible when you have the original lead singer of those classic hits in the line up live on stage which with all things considered certainly seems to be an extremely rare occurrence in this day and age.
