Heritage Opera

Heritage Opera return to The Gaiety with Puccini’s best-loved opera, La Bohème which charts the love affair of Rodolfo, a writer, and Mimi, his neighbour, as they eke out a living on the breadline. Life is harsh, and they soon find that you need more than passion and love to survive. Over the last decade Heritage Opera have delivered over 3,000 performances across the UK. La Bohème’s professional cast of eight have appeared with many leading opera companies in the UK and beyond, including soprano Sarah Helsby Hughes as Mimi, and Royal Opera House tenor Nicholas Sales as Rodolfo.

Sung in English, accompanied by piano and string quartet.
