Ian Shaw is distinctive, creative and original; his talent and technical ability is undeniable. Noted for his flexible, adventurous vocal style, Shaw has an exceptional ability to re-interpret not only jazz standards but also rock and pop songs.
Born in Wales in 1962, his career as a singer, pianist and songwriter began in the 1980s. By 1997, he had established himself as the UK's top jazz singer and was performing regularly in the USA.
