Alex Salmond

Alex Salmond talks about his life and work with an opportunity to ask questions. There will also be a chance to buy a signed copy of his latest book, The Dream Shall Never Die.

Mr Salmond is the former First Minister of Scotland. He was Leader of the Scottish National Party from 1990 to 2000 and again from 2004 to 2014. He served as a Member of Parliament from 1987 to 2010.

In 2015 he returned to the House of Commons as the MP for the Aberdeenshire constituency of Gordon, meaning that he is currently a member of both the Scottish and United Kingdom parliaments.
