Originally inspired by the demolition of the much loved Chartist Mural, Smash It Up was developed on the streets, public spaces and building sites of Newport.

Using performance art and physical theatre this engaging show explores the historical acts of cultural destruction by fanatics, institutions and by artists themselves and asks what else is in danger of being destroyed?
