Wait Until Dark

From 5 – 7 February 2020, The Centralian Players will be performing Frederick Knott’s infamous thriller, Wait Until Dark, at the Henderson Memorial Hall, Abbots Langley.
In a basement flat in Notting Hill Gate, London, a sinister con man and two ex-convicts are about to meet their match.
The flat is home to Sam Henderson and his recently blind wife, Susy, who are in possession of a doll Sam was given in Amsterdam to give to a little girl in Great Ormond Street Hospital. Unbeknownst to them, the doll is not what they think, leading to three men beginning an elaborate scheme to persuade Susy to hand over the doll, but they discover she is not an easy target…
Performances start at 19:45 and there will be two intervals: a 5 minute interval after Act 1; and a 20 minute interval after Act 2.
This amateur production of “Wait Until Dark” is presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH LTD a Concord Theatricals Company.
