Young Curators Project: Fashion And Portrait Illustration With Miss Led
The Young Curators project is for 14 – 19 year olds who are interested in learning more about art and how galleries and museums work. The projects have been run by The Lightbox since 2006 and provide a unique opportunity to discover the work that is involved in curating exhibitions as well as hands-on workshop sessions.
The next Young Curators project will take inspiration from the ‘Hollywood Photographs’ exhibition and work with fashion illustrator and artist, Miss Led. Through fun processes, she will explore imagery, posture, lighting and composition and how to transfer line drawings into experimental artworks. Work produced will be exhibited at The Lightbox.
